Each trainer on the Endorphin Junkies team brings their diverse collection of experiences, technical training, and passion for physical fitness to their careers. Professionally trained and carrying industry certification, every EJ trainer strives to provide clients with the right tools to excel.
Whether it's a 6:00 am session on a wet, dark Vancouver morning or an evening group run up the Grouse Grind in the summer, each trainer on our team is excited to work with clients on achieving all of their fitness goals.

Rob is a trainer with an unbridled amount of passion and commitment. This self-professed jock stepped into the fitness industry by taking his BCRPA certification in 1995. It was here that Rob decided to make fitness the focal point of his life and share his positive addiction with others. He went on to the University of British Columbia where he graduated in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Human Kinetics. Shortly afterwards, he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. With experience in training a wide variety of individuals at different ages and different fitness levels, Rob prides himself on being able to adapt his training to whatever each client needs.

Pieter’s leadership qualities are the foundation of his personal training abilities. He studied at the Institute of Fitness Professionals in South Africa, and received specific accreditation in biomechanics, nutrition, injuries, exercise science, anatomy and exercise physiology. He’s been a personal trainer since 1996, and moved to Canada in June 1999 where he’s pursued personal training as well as his own pursuits in bodybuilding and power lifting. For him, the rewards are the changes he can affect for his clients, the confidence he can bring to their lives, and the opportunity to interact with people from all walks of life.

Junior Mulingtapang has the distinction of being the very first employee of Endorphin Junkies. Junior has been in the personal training and fitness industry since 1996 and has helped numerous clients hit new heights in their personal fitness. He is certified by the American Council on Exercise. He's been an athlete since he can remember, with football as his particular area of expertise, and has numerous awards and personal achievements to his credit.

Mark joined the South Fraser Track and Field Club shortly after watching the film, "Chariots of Fire" when he was 11 years old. In 2002, he was the fourth place finisher in the Vancouver International Marathon. That same year, he began working out with the Endorphin Junkies. He found the training so interesting and fun that he did his BCRPA certification. He is an Adidas-sponsored athlete, a member of the Lions Gate Road Runners and an Endorphin Junkie!

A graduate of the University of Victoria with a BSc in Kinesiology, Erin Tetarenko has always made health and fitness a priority in her life. Having played a variety of sports in her childhood, she was a featured player on the Team BC soccer team and played varsity soccer at University College of the Cariboo. Having worked alongside physiotherapists as an Exercise Therapist and with advanced sport testing as a Kinetics Research Assistant, Erin's latest challenge has come in the form of personal training. Holding her BCRPA certification, Erin is the latest trainer to join the Endorphin Junkies team.

Allistair comes to us from Scotland, where he spent most of his life playing or watching football (soccer). It didn’t take long to turn his love for football into a career, and Allistair started playing professionally for a number of clubs throughout the UK. After becoming a Qualified Personal Trainer, Ally continued to become certified in a variety of health and fitness disciplines, including: Nutrition and Weight Management, Lifestyle Review and Assessment, and Advanced Group Spinning. He also completed a National Vocational Qualification in Instructing Physical Activity and Exercise before moving to Vancouver in 2007. Personal training continues to be a rewarding career for Ally, “There is nothing more rewarding than seeing clients enjoy their workouts and reach their goals.” As the newest member of the Endorphin Junkies family, Ally is excited about building new relationships while continuing to grow in the field of health and fitness.

Kimberley has an extensive background in management, personal training, education, and coaching. She has achieved great success in many facets of the health and fitness industry and her belief in the development of the body, mind, and spirit has served as the foundation for her creativity resulting in achievements in fitness including bodybuilding as a national and provincial competitor; artistic achievements as a writer, director, and performer; and community contributions as an educator, coach, mentor, and leader. After completing 3 years of Pre Med at UBC and managing the UBC BirdCoop Fitness Facility, Kimberley found herself torn between eastern and western healthcare philosophies. She now draws upon a variety of disciplines to bridge the gap between these ideologies. Kimberley is currently working with Pieter van der Linde in the development of an evolved integrated body, mind, and spirit approach to human kinetics and performance.

Sean is a celebrated athlete and academic whose approach to personal training is built on a solid foundation of post-secondary education and a commitment to athletic achievement. As a Canada Cup Bronze Medal winner, a Provincial All-Star MVP, and a 3 season Varsity Athlete for UBC, Sean’s football achievements have been numerous. Additionally, Sean is an all-star rugby player and has an Honors Standing in Sports Science from Douglas College. Upon graduating from UBC in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Human Kinetics, Sean quickly established himself as a personal trainer, a group fitness instructor, and an active rehabilitation specialist. He contributes to the community as a dog sponsor and volunteer for the SPCA and has a personal commitment to health, fitness, and education that makes him a strong role model and inspiration to clients, peers, family, and friends. We are excited to be welcoming Sean Tobin to Endorphin Junkies Personal Training Ltd.

Daniela is an avid fitness professional who got involved in the fitness industry when her 13-year dance training journey crossed paths with indoor group exercise. For the past 9 years, she has been leading group exercise classes around the lower mainland teaching a variety of participants from teenagers to older adults to recovering addicts. She is a BCRPA registered Trainer of Fitness Leaders and has recently made the transition into personal training to have a more intimate and goal oriented experience with her clients. Daniela has a BGS in Applied Science with a focus in kinesiology, gerontology, and sociology, as well as a certificate in Health and Fitness Studies - both from Simon Fraser University. She has teamed up with Canadian Online Fitness Education Inc. teaching the Group Fitness Course to students wishing to become instructors and is a contributing author to their latest edition of the Group Exercise Manual.
